Cristiano Ronaldo Reportedly Keen to Reunite With Former Real Madrid Team-mate at Juventus

Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly keen to reunite with former Real Madrid team-mate, Marcelo at Turin with Calciomercato claiming that the Bianconeri could make a move for the Brazilian considering that his time at the Bernabeu is set to come to end soon.

Marcelo has struggled for gametime under Zinedine Zidane this season and has fallen behind Ferland Mendy in the pecking order this season, which has led to speculation that the left-back will look for a move away in the summer.

This has led to rumours that the 32-year-old could push for a move to Italy and reunite with Ronaldo, who would welcome his friend and someone who he combined well with devastating effect during his time at Madrid.

Juventus were keen to sign him last summer and would look to land him this summer too, though it is understood that his salary could be a major problem. Marcelo earns around €8m-per-year and that amount is considered to be too high for the Italian giants, with one way that the Brazilian could be signed if he agrees to take a pay cut.

The Brazilian is in his 15th season at the Bernabeu, making 519 appearances so far and helping the club win five LaLiga titles, two Copa del Rey’s and four Champions League honours.
