David Alaba Understood to Have Signed for Real Madrid on a Four-Year Deal From Bayern Munich

Spanish giants, Real Madrid have reportedly snapped up the much wanted David Alaba from Bayern Munich with Marca reporting that the defender agreeing to join the Los Blancos once his contract runs out in the summer.

Bayern are resigned to losing Alaba in the summer after the player himself turned-down a £200,000-per-week offer to stay in Munich. His situation has led to a number of top European clubs including the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all expressing an interest in signing him.

However, Madrid who were the favourites have beaten the other clubs in the race to sign Alaba who is understood to have agreed to a four-year deal worth £11million-a-year in terms of wages. Liverpool were another who were said to be close to signing the player, but eventually backed out after deciding that his massive salary was not worth it.
